Guess Whose Back aka Jetlagged Beauty Blogger aka NYC Haul

I thought a super long blog post title would be quite appropriate as I am celebrating that my flight didn’t crash (though the turbulence made it a bumpy ride at times), I didn't lose my camera; although I did come disastrously close, and the fact that I bought my little heart out.

I don’t want to bore you all naming and shaming everything I bought (because I can’t really remember the reasoning behind half of my purchases) but I will give you a sneak peek of some of the beauty products that are going to be making blog features during the next few weeks.

I will do a "lifestyle" type post over the weekend but I'm still trying to go through all my videos and images and turning them into gifs and what not.

#28kisses and Counting | Day 27: Northern Light Kisses

I never really thought I had so much pink hidden in my makeup collection but having looked back on the #28kisses LipstickChallenge, almost all the posts have been pink or red . . .when did so much pink creep into my collection?? I demand an answer!!!!
Ok, no I really don’t especially when I’m about to talk about another pale pink lipgloss . . . but I’m running out of ways to describe the colour pink now . . . what do I say about Revlon’s Crystal Lilac??
Crystal Lilac is a psychedelic bubble-gum pink gloss with green reflects in it that is very eye-catching in the tube and on the lips. I did originally buy this just because I thought it was pretty (sometimes the buying reasoning is just that simple).
I’m not really one to go for a pink lipgloss this light but I love mixing this with a nude lipstick like MAC Freshbrew or Doubleshot to add a little ‘something-something’ to my lips.
I am a huge fan of Revlon’s Colorburst lip glosses as their smooth, lightweight and non-sticky formula feels like it should cost a lot more than their £7/8 price tag.

#28kisses and Counting | Day 6 : Rosegold Kisses

I almost didn’t get round to taking the pictures for today’s #28kisses post as I was way too tired to attempt picking up my camera after  I came back from the gym last night (which FYI I’m starting to HATE), but I managed to take some very mediocre shots this morning before rushing out the door for work.

Revlon Colorburst Lip-gloss in Rosegold 026 is part of my ever expanding Colorburst collection which I love with a passion but have never really gotten round to blogging about. .  . Why?? . . I don’t know, I’m just lazy I guess.
Rosegold’s light and non-sticky formula has become a great nude-lipgloss favourite of mine that I really need to think about replacing soon as it is very nearly finished (a lot of coercing and jiggling was involved to make to make this lipgloss appear full for this picture).
The majority of Revlon’s Colorbursts are seasonal so if you pop down to your local drugstore and it’s not stocked just remember that you can probably get the shade online. I know Boots tends to stock past seasons on their website, so it’s worth your while to check there.

Miss out on MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish?? Well even though it's sold out in all the stores, here is your chance to WIN one!!!! Enter my February give-away!

Christmas Challenge | Day 15 - Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in 028 Sienna Sparkle

I've really been procrastinating with the 30 lipsticks in 30 days challenge but with this post I am finally  up to date (I think).

Today I'm was off to the salon to get some extensions (hence why my trademark fro is no longer in sight) so I'm keeping everything very natural and simple because let's face it, it was probably going to get wiped off my face due to me fidgeting or she might just have wiped it off herself if I decide to get my hair steamed and she attempted to drown me in the process.
Revlon Colorburst in Sienna Sparkle 028 is a beautiful bronze shade with gold iridescent sparkles running through the formula. Before appied or swatched you would think that this falls into the bery or burgundy colour family but I think that the yellow tones in this shade help to make it appear much more  skin-toned.
With two appointments in the works, this is definetly a lazy day shade which warms up by face while being low maintenance at the same time

Perfect!!!
